Floating Points’ vocalist of choice, Fatima, lends a sophisticated vocal to the burnished downbeats of opener ‘Rubies & Diamonds’, while Olmino imbues the spacious rhythms and neon synth squirts of ‘Attempting Cry’ with a crooning Brazilian quality ripe for the Gilles Peterson types, while setting ‘Loose Lights’ with a classy Bossa vibe.
